Steelhead fishing - March 18, 2000
Tried once again to get my first steelhead. Found a place
near sawdust hole where I could wade to the middle of the river
and drop my spawn bag up and down a deep run in the river.
Got a hold of one fish which rapidly started whipping line off
my reel then came off. It was a thrill anyway.
Saw these guys in the boat above reel in
several. Steelhead fishing -
November 9, 1999
No hookups. Couldn't resist going fishing when the
temperature is in the 70's this time of November. Saw a
flock of turkeys and kicked up a buck in the valley where Pine
Creek meets the big river.
