 The Pine River in
Wexford and Manistee counties is one of the most beautiful rivers I have seen in lower
MI. It cuts it's way through a deep valley with a Federal Scenic corridor surrounding
it. The views of the river from bluffs of up to 100' tall are breath-taking.

of Michigan. It is a hard to find book, but worth your while to get it.
The book contains information on access points and stream descriptions at different points
along the Pine. The book also contains information on countless other Michigan trout
streams. I have found it to be my most valuable guide. It can be ordered by
